Periodontist

A periodontist is a dental specialist who focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease (diseases of the gums and surrounding structures of the teeth) and in the placement of dental implants. They also specialize in managing oral inflammation and maintaining the health of the supporting structures of the teeth.
